13 CAUSES OF BLURRY VISION

We never realize the value of things that we are blessed with until we start losing them. Be it physical possessions or more precious things such as relations, health, and peace. Eyesight is no exception to this truth. When a slight problem occurs with our vision, every activity in our routine gets affected. Even a menial task seems the hardest. CAUSES OF BLURRY VISION:

Loss of sharpness in vision is also Blurry Vision. Cloudy vision is also equal to blurry vision, most of the time it is the symptom of conditions like cataract. The major cause of blurry vision is refractive errors, and these symptoms will cause you the serious problems if it is left untreated.

1. Cataract

 

Clouding of the lens caused by a cataract is one of the most common causes of blurry vision. Cataract mostly occurs to aged persons. If left untreated, it will cause serious trouble, which leads to permanent vision loss. 2. Glaucoma

3. Age-related Macular Degeneration

 

When the macula region of the eye gets damaged due to age-related reasons, it is termed age-related macular degeneration. 4. Diabetic Retinopathy

If you are affected by diabetes, blurry vision may be an indication of Diabetic Retinopathy. 5. Myopia

6. Hyperopia

8. Presbyopia

9. Chronic Dry Eyes

10. Pregnancy

 

Hormonal changes during pregnancy can change the shape and thickness of the cornea. Therefore, blurred vision is common among pregnant women. Pregnant women should report such incidences of blurred vision to their doctor, as it may be the indicator of gestational diabetes in some cases.

11. Migraines

12. Medications

 

Certain preservatives in eyedrops may cause irritation or blurred vision. Certain pills for a headache can also cause blurred vision
